Free Respironics heated hose
Someone donated a bunch of masks and hoses. The masks I have found some homes for but I am having problems finding someone who wants the Respironics heated hoses. I need to check the product numbers and see which models they will work with ... If anyone wants one or two or three or all of them....se...

Re: First night with Resmed P30i mask
If those FLs are related to nasal congestion then adding EPR won't help but worth trying. Going to be either that or more baseline pressure is going to be needed but I don't know just how critical those FLs are. They are ugly for sure but I have seen worse and sometimes the cure is worse than the di...

Re: First night with Resmed P30i mask
Are you having any nasal congestion?
If not....try adding in EPR at 3 to your settings and see what happens with those FLs.
Please review this thread with examples of what to show on your reports that you share.

Re: Just started CPAP therapy, diagnosed years ago.
If it were me and the only leak I was getting was like yours from last night....I wouldn't mess with a chin strap. 1....we assume mouth breathing leak but it could also simply be mask movement issue. To know for sure you have to tape the mouth shut and have the tape stay stuck all night. 2....if the...

Re: Just started CPAP therapy, diagnosed years ago.
What is your primary sleeping position? On your back for the first part of the night maybe and on your side later or on your back all the time or on your side all the time??? Some people have a lot of nasal congestion and sometimes that nasal congestion shows up in the FL graph. Your FL graph is rea...

Re: FitLife Total Face CPAP/BiPAP Mask
It's a very unpopular mask. Yep....the mask of last resort. But there are a handful of cpap users who really like that mask.....I am not one of them. I did finally get my hands on a FitLife size small to try and it was horrible. I couldn't get it to seal for 5 seconds much less sleep with it. I am ...

Re: Diagnosed by Lofta: How to choose first mask to try?
Also CPAP.com appears to allow returns on used masks, somehow. Cpap.com does allow for mask returns with some restrictions. If you end up giving them a try be sure and read up on their mask return policy. Main thing to remember is that the time frame for the return is that the mask must be returned...

Re: Just started CPAP therapy, diagnosed years ago.
i woke up feeling like water was sputtering out the edges of my mask in the night and says i had a large leak. I might have filled the humidifier too much? Entirely possible that the water chamber got over filled a little bit and water got blown into the hose. Been there and done that myself....and...

Re: N30 airfit cushion size needed
Folks....be aware that this OP is wanting a different size nasal cushion for the ResMed AirFit N30 under the nose cushion. Don't go offering the N30i cushion because that's not what he wants or needs. It won't fit for one thing and for another thing he already has a N30i to try. He already has a com...

Re: Just started CPAP therapy, diagnosed years ago.
Would raising the pressure cause CA? Maybe...maybe not. About 10 to 15 % of the people who start on cpap will develop some level of central apneas happening. A few is normal and no big deal....a truck load of centrals means we get to have a different discussion. While a lot of people think that cen...

Re: Just started CPAP therapy, diagnosed years ago.
Are you experiencing any nasal congestion? You are going to need more than 9 cm pressure with EPR at 3. Start with 10 cm for a few nights then maybe try 11 cm for a few nights...then 12 cm for a few nights and so on. See if you can get that obstructive index (OAs and hyponeas) down to below 5. If yo...

Re: Old Hand and yet a Newbie
What are my options? Do I have to “take what’s giving me?” No....you can refuse anything you don't want. Medicare doesn't care about brand or model they only care about HCPCS billing codes. That's how they get paid. You can fire them at anytime and find someone else who will supply you with what yo...

The P10 has always been totally silent for me.
I am surprised it isn't for you.
