Be careful putting on mask.

About 1:00 a.m. This morning I was putting my mask on when I went to click I. The clip on the left side where the plastic clip goes in the slot something slipped and because of the tension the plastic clip sprung back and hit me straight in the middle of the eyeball. Yeeeeeowseeeeee!!! It scared da ...

Humidifier STRONG suggestion

Someone here had suggested when I take the humidifier apart to release the water to make sure I was over a sink and I've always done so....

However just now I clicked that chamber open while walking to the sink and I'm all wet!!!

I won't be making that mistake again!!

Intellipap filter question

EEEEEgads -- I have forgotten to change the little white filter. And it's really grey and I don't have a replacement. Is there anything I can use as a replacement until my new ones get here from cpap.com? (eyeing the ac/heater filter overhead -- nope, that's won't do) Just wondered because you are a...

Follow-up doc appointment angst

GRRRRRRR.....this doc is bugging me. He specifically told me I had no central events during my sleep study or titration study. Then I receive copies of my reports...and guess what? 4 central events!! Also, report says he recommended CPAP or BIPAP for me. AND....there were quite a few things on both ...

Re: Ever hear of this?

This sounds so much like an urban legend. Let's submit this one to Mythbusters. Since Adam is also a hose head, (I think), it could be a cool way for some more exposure. --All other things aside; I'd like to see them blow up some cadaver/cow eyeballs. ohhhhhhh my chunky froggy friend.....thanks I n...

Intellipap Humidifier

Okie dokie -- i have this question. To get water out of this humidifier, i have to rock it back and forth because there are all these little chambers that the water crawls in to. Now.....maybe I've got it all wrong, but am I missing something? Is there an easier way to drain this humidifer -- a plug...

Re: ?Exhale Puff Index of 31 with full face mask and mouth tape?

Wait a sec. Hold da phone. I would ignore the "31" number. Because when I take off my mask I usually take off the hose or I reach over and hit off then pull off hose. On that day looking at the machine window I ALWAYS have a leak number of 31.5 -- always. But when I check smartcode or take out the c...

Re: OT Bed bug phobia

I nearly lost a friend a few years ago who had over 100 bites. She was staying in a very nice hotel in the l.a. Area while attending a business conference. Their bites caused a infection that led to pneumonia type symptoms. At one point it got pretty scary. But she has not become weird or paranoid a...
