Even though they say under 24 is ok, I still think 18 is kind of high. My leak goes down drastically when I started using a chin strap.

Hi Linda, my script is for 11 too. I set mine 8-12. The pressure hovers around 10.5 on the average.

I second what nanwilson said. Go to cpap.com and study your options.
Just curious, how does the doctor know that nasal mask is best for your? Did you try on all types of mask during your sleep study?

However it is possible to rig up a way to run the FX hose overhead too, with a little crafty creativity with some fabric or Velcro. Word. Or wear something ...

It's not fair comparing the Mayo Clinic to other run of the mill DMEs.

Re: Swift LT for her question.
I've successfully used the Swift LT and had zero leaks. You just need to tweak it ~ rotate the pillow until the angle is correct, etc. Word. HA, the LT is my go to mask and I love it. If you can feel the air, to me that means it's not fitting right. Move it around, adjust the straps, twist the entr...

Re: Activecell vs Doublecell and Softgel
I own all 3 in nasal style and I like them in this order: 1. Resmed Activa LT - light and the accordion motion seals your face tight. My favorite nasal mask. 2. Respironics ComfortGel - compact and a little heavier than the Activa, no motion. I would continue using it occasionally. 3. Resmed SoftGel...
