VPAP Adapt SV (original) part of VPAP III Series ?

Post by ldj325 » Sun Sep 05, 2010 2:31 pm

Does anyone know if the original model of the VPAP Adapt SV would, especially in the area of data reporting, fall into a category of "VPAP III series?"

The VPAP Adapt SV Enhanced will give you efficacy data. The VPAP ADAPT sv (original) will not give you efficacy data.

Yes, I am aware of that. I still need to know if there are similarities between the Adapt SV original and the VPAP III series. I know they are different models. I am trying to find out if there are similarities sort of like the way the S9 Elite and S9 Autoset are different machines but still part of the S9 series.

What I do know is that the internals of the Vpap Adapt SV are totally different from the Vpap III.
Different blower (entirely) and different electronics. The data is reported quite a bit differently as well.

The only real similarity between the Vpap III & the Vpap Adapt SV is the shape. The new blower assembly in the Vpap Adapt SV (dual stage dual impeller) was the basis for the subsequently miniaturized version used in the S8 II series & the S9 series (also dual stage dual impeller).
