Re: Used portable Bi-Pap, for my Dad, who needs it for his ALS.
The Trilogy 100 looks like a great machine. In fact that's the machine I'm looking at getting as well. I have a metabolic disease that has similar complications as ALS. I'm on bipap 24/7 and just rotating several machines throughout the day. Unfortunately the Trilogy is quite expensive. The cheapest...

Re: Please Help..Bi-PAP AVAPS - Calling SWS..
But if i set my AVAPS to the S/T mode with the AVAPS turned off it should work like my old Synchrony right? I tried that as well and set it to the same settings. I'm still dropping my O2 stats. If they really are set up identically---in ST mode----then they should perform identically. And if while ...

Re: Please Help..Bi-PAP AVAPS - Calling SWS..
I'm not sure if it's a defective machine or it's really just not working as well as the old ones. Please help! Your AVAPS machine is not defective. Though it is counter-intuitive, if you set your AVAPS device to your old S/T settings you will come up short, as appears you have already done. If you ...

Re: Please Help..Bi-PAP AVAPS - Calling SWS..
Yes I would be more than happy to post the settings of both machines here. I really want to resolve this problem. What other information do you need? As far as I can remember here's the set up of both my machines now. Synchrony S/T IPAP - 15 EPAP - 5 BPM - 18 Rise Time - 1 Ti - 1.6s BiPAP AVAPS IPAP...

Re: Please Help..Bi-PAP AVAPS - Calling SWS..
Reading this thread has been informative. I also got a PR System One BiPAP AVAPS last May and I really thought it was going to be an easy switch from the BiPAP Synchrony ST. Well a month into having it I still haven't been able to make the transition. I set the AVAPS to the same parameters as the Sy...

PR System One BiPAP AVAPS: Severely Disappointed
I just bought a PR System One BiPAP AVAPS to replace my broken Synchrony. I got that over the older model because i thought that since it's the latest model it would be better. Alas it wasn't. After a month of being with me I still can't get the right settings to it. Finally my RT came over and he b...

Re: donating a used cpap
Hi, If it's possible would you consider it to the group that I just started with some friends of mine? We started a project called "The Breathe Initiative" (http://www.breatheinitiative.org). Our goal is to basically provide help to patients here in the Philippines who have no access to breathing eq...

Where to buy a Trilogy 100?
I'm looking at purchasing a Trilogy 100. Can anyone recommend a vendor that sells it? I don't live in the US hence no insurance to cover it. It's gonna be out of pocket. I'm looking for a place that can give me a good deal on it. thanks in advance

Re: BiPAP Synchrony S/T and other questions
The BiPAP S/T? Really. I demoed the new model somehow it seems different. I set it to the pressure settings that were on my synchrony and it felt like I wasn't getting enough air. the synchrony is still smoother for me.

BiPAP Synchrony S/T and other questions
Hi Guys, Does anyone of you have any leads on a used/refurbished BiPAP Synchrony S/T? I have Pompe disease and have been bipap dependent for more than 10 years. At first it was just night time use but now I am dependent on it 24/7. I have Synchrony's that I rotate daily on about 12 hours use per mac...
