One thing to remember, do not dispose of Distilled Water in the city sewer systems, it will confuse the fish. They will not be able to tell for sure if the river water is fresh or salt water, protect our wild life. Jim

No. Even if salt is used to "soften" the water or remove the minerals it doesn't leave you with salty water at all.
And not all mineral removing water softeners use salt anyway. There are other ways to get those minerals out.

... and I both have the Dreamstation machine. The water chamber for the humidifier defies my efforts to clean it. It has so many corners and crevices ... but I can't (or won't) buy a new one every week. Catnapper - Joanie Salt and alcohol, swish. the salt helps to abrade the biofilm.
