This was an interesting case from one of the FB groups I participate in... poor person had the damndest flow and respiratory rates I'd ever seen! Take a look, shared with permission:

You have to zoom in and see what the poor machine is counting... it's counting their *heartbeat*, and finding flow limitations too! Now *that's* some thumping. Took a little while to figure it out... the crazy fuzzy Resp Rate graph was actually the clue. The obvious solution was to turn off APAP (sorry Chunky) and tell the machine to shut up and pump air. Here's their result:
