If you have a different mask than the Quattro and need a mask liner. Please email me with your mask name, I will be designing mask liners for many different masks if the one for the Quattro is a success.
Thank you

What is the mask liner meant to do? You place this between the rubber and your face?

Hello and thank you to the ones who were so quick to reply to this Test. We do have the required testers, there are no more spots available in this trial.

As far as what this is meant to do..... I made this design based on some people's need to have a barrier between the seal and their skin. Some people have a contact dermatitis reaction to the seal of any mask. Some people have rosacea and the seal makes it worse. Some people have other issues. This liner is not designed to prevent leaks, and hopefully it will not increase the leak rate. I am very confident that there are certain people that this product will make the difference between using or not using their CPAP as long as it works the way it is intended.

I will look for responses to this trial. Participants, you can post right on this thread when you are ready to post, that way the results will all be easy to locate in the future. You may have to dig this thread up from the next few pages by the time you are ready to post a reply.

Thanks for all who are participating.

Karen

That's great that you're doing this. For my part, I'm looking forward to ordering your nose bridge protector.

Karen,

I use your nose bridge protector and a homeade gasket. It would be great if they were combined into one piece. You are doing a great thing, here.

The softgel cushion for my Activa LT doesn't have a place to stick the nose flap like the Activa cushions, so sometimes it falls down and flops around inside my mask. But I really have to have that nose bridge protector to keep the blisters off of my bridge.

Yes, PC is very clever.

The new mask liner from Padacheek.

At first glance, wow this is weird.
I already knew about the forehead pad. I have been using one of those
every night w/my Papcap for almost 2 yrs.

The "tailored" holes on each side are PC's work.
The next two holes are the holes that the mask clips go through.
They were too small and needed to be enlarged, so that is my handy work.
...as is the enlargement of the nose/mouth hole.
Not a pretty site, I know....but effective.

This demonstrated a valuable feature of this liner.
This material is difficult to cut. You need really sharp tools.
Because of this, this material will wear and last a long time.
The material is some kind of micro-fleece. PC can give us the
details on that. It is very soft and comfortable.

Once I read the instructions and fiddled w/it for about 10mins, it was installed.
Fit the forehead pad to the mask.

Bring the sides around. Align the elbow and slip one side over the elbow.

Realign the elbow to the other side and slip the other side on.

Ready for the abyss.

I have been using this for 5 nights.
Leaks are about the same as w/the other mask liner I have been using.
It appears that they seal better as they are used.
I have pretty normal skin and wash every night before bed.
I don't know yet how many nights I can go before it needs to be washed.

If you have nose bridge problem, the fix is built into this liner.
It is very convenient that the liner becomes part of the mask.
It has plenty of material that is easy to pull to smooth out any kinks.
I was already schooled in fitting my mask every night w/the other liner,
so this is cake.

As PC refines this product it is only going to get better.
Silicone will never touch my face again.

Yea.....PC....she's very clever.

Hello. I received my Quattro liner, and used it for the first time last night. It is very sturdy material, hard to cut. Mine is a light tan cloth with a hunter green forehead pad. When I first read the instrustions for putting it on, I thought "What the heck?" But once I got out my mask and went through step-by-step, it was very straightforward. I also cut the hole bigger to include my mouth. I agree that the holes for the clips are a little small, and will cut those tonight. I couldn't use the snap by feel. I had to get up and use a mirror. Bigger holes will solve this. Otherwise, it fits the Quattro very well. The forehead pad is very cushiony (is that a word?) and soft. I wondered if it would be too hot as thick as it is, but it was not at all. I also thought I might have a problem with the material touching my face. It was not a problem. It is a very soft, silky material and felt good on my skin. The first half of the night, everything was great, very comfortable. Then I woke up with leak issues, which is a common problem for me, so I can't say it was due to the product. I'll let you know as I continue to use it.

So, I'd have to say, so far so good! Very well made product. Does not feel flimsy at all. Very sturdy, yet soft material. I don't have a problem with my mask irritating my skin, so I don't know if I would always use it, but if I did have problems this would be a good solution. It feels really nice against the skin.

More to come!

I have used the mask liner for 4 nights and all I can say is wow! When I opened the package I though it would never work, but I was wrong. It does not make the mask leak any more than usual (it actually seems to hold the mask in place better) and is very soft on my face. The padding of the forehead support is super. The only problems I have experienced are that material is very hard to cut and if I’m not careful it will bunch up on the edge of my nose. So far I’m very pleased with it, and think it is a wonderful product. (I like the forehead pad so much; I am going to order pads for the straps).

Thanks Karen for your products

Jeff

I have used the liner for the last three nights. Like everyone else I had to make a few modifications to get it to fit me but after that it has worked pretty good. That simply means that my numbers stayed in the same range as before but my face was not as beat up the next morning. The bridge of my nose was not as sore and has been better each morning.
The main thing I like about this particular liner is that you can modify it and it stays in place while you are putting the mask on. The other liner out there was nightmare to keep in place while putting it on and there was very little room to make modifications.
