Re: Resmed liberty hybrid

thanks for the thought codin. Luckily at the moment i am still working with health care and the mask is mostly covered with a deductible. I just need to find one that will finally do the job. I am hoping i wont have to stay with the quattro but that could happen. I have to decide on a mask when i go...

Re: Update Continued

Hi Dori , I have often thought of you and Mike and wondered how things were going for you both.
I should log in here more often.
I am sorry to hear of the suffering in regards to both of you.
I send my prayers and thoughts out your way.

I hope you both can find some peace and comfort.

Re: Resmed liberty hybrid

I sleep primarily on my back but like to switch to my side once in a while. Are folks able to sleep on their side with the mask or does it leak?

Re: Resmed liberty hybrid

I use the resmed liberty mask and very happy with it. My only complaint in the past has been the pillows start leaking after around 5 weeks of use. But since I read about boiling to reshape them that seems to work. If you are paying for it yourself do a good search online since the place I by it fr...

I have been thinking of giving this mask a try. What issues have you been having with it?

Re: Quattro FX - 1st night tonight

I seem to keep breaking the seal after sleeping a few hours. I have been having a tough time finding the right strap tension for comfort and no leaks as the night progresses. The last few nights have been tough the first couple went fairly well. The mask over all is more comfortable. Hopefully I can...

Re: Which full face mask do you prefer?

I just started using the quattro fx after having used a quattro ffm for 6 months. The fx I give 2 thumbs up. Much more comfortable than the old one.

4 nights so far and very comfortable.

Re: Quattro FX - 1st night tonight

I have used it for several nights now. Still adjusting the straps a bit to get that comfort sweet spot. I have to say that it is a big improvement over the quattro. The fx is a lot more comfortable. I have not had a problem with it shifting so far. I am pretty happy with it. I dont have to wear the ...

Re: Camping/Is it safe to go a few days withiut using the CPAP M

Last year I went camping. Paid for a site with power. Pull up to the site no power hook ups. Did not want to dissapoint my daughter so stayed for the weekend. Woke up with headaches each morning and a sore throat from snoring. Never again.

Re: cpap with a cold?

I had pneumonia last month. Wearing the mask with humidity helped. I turned it up some. It was a struggle to have pneumonia and have the back pressure on the machine. I tossed and turned more but got through it. I hope you feel better soon.

Re: How long did it take to "take to it"?

It took me 2 weeks to get used to sleeping with the gear on. that includes learning how to adjust the mask so it was not too tight and not so loose that it leaked. After that i went through a period of time where i was paying off the sleep debt. i would sleep for long periods of time and feel tired....

Quattro FX - 1st night tonight

Hi Everyone. Have not logged in here for a while. I have been having a busy summer. Today I went for my yearly review with my cpap doc. They gave me a big thumbs up and said my stats look great. I am still averaging 2 apneas per hour roughly. I picked up a quattro fx and tonight will be my first go ...
