Good reason for having a humidifier!

Post by torontoCPAPguy » Wed Oct 02, 2013 5:45 pm

Firstly, no BBQing that week.
Secondly, the air in the bedroom was cool and very dry. Not nice on the throat and lungs at all.
These are the times when a humidifier makes sleeping more comfortable.
HOWEVER, I mostly use my humidifier and heated hose on the S9 when I am plugged up with a cold or allergies. Clears the lungs and the sinus and keeps things moist.

Anyone for a BBQ? We'll provide the fixin's if YOU do the cookin'.

For those non-Canadian residents on the forum:
1. This is still swimming weather up here in case you missed it on the news.
2. Propane takes a bit of effort to get lit in this weather.
3. We waited a couple of days before beating a path to the BBQ.
4. This is still camping weather in Canada.
5. Canadians cannot carry concealed - besides it's hard to walk around with a shotgun in your pants. (Bears and moose)
6. The damn raccoons still come out to play in this weather.
7. We have to hold the dog up in the air when we walk him.

You get the idea. Here's the picture.

Fall colours. One of God's gifts. Life is fragile and short, savour every moment no matter what your problems may be. These stunning fall colours from my first outing after surviving a month on life support due to H1N1.

Ya know, you really ought to get a cover for that grill. Once the snow gets icy, it's a bear to fire it up to grill some steaks in February. Winter is too darn long to go without a nice grilled steak, or a butterflyed leg-o-lamb. Sometimes just a nice couple of burgers! Especially burger treats like elk, moose, or caribou just don't taste the same off the stovetop!
