O/T How many sleep Drs does it take to change a lightbulb?

Zero. No light. You can't sleep with the light on. So no sleep docs needed to change the non existent light bulb

Five specialists.

1) One dedicated doctor who surgically removes the bad bulb.
2) Then an implant specialist who inserts the replacement bulb.
3) The highly-skilled diagnostician, stationed near the door, who must repeatedly flip the wall switch as a test.
4) Next a supervising MD must enter the room to terminate the test.
5) Finally, a well-meaning sleep MD who turns the bulb back on after all those procedures---to ask the patient if they are still asleep.



P.S. I'm actually a huge fan of my doctors.

They only diagnose.....the DME is supposed to change the lightbulb.

Only one, but it will take 6 weeks for the bulb to be shipped from the Durable Medical Lightbulb supplier plus it will cost $5000.00

None. They rely on the Tech's to do it, and then, just maybe, if you are really, really lucky, they will check to see if it still works at some point in the future.
