Re: Sweaty palms and Sweaty feet during day???
This may be a dermatological problem called hyperhydrosis. My son has a pretty severe case......his hands would leave wet marks on his papers at school. The dermatologist gave him a prescription for a topical treatment that he does a couple times a week...no more sweaty hands. It has worked like a m...

ResScan - leak info.
Could someone please explain how to interpret the leakage data? What does median, 95th%, etc. stand for? How do you know if you are having lots of leaks or minimal leaks? I am confused........thanks!

Re: Help.....still trying to figure all this out.
Be sure that your calcium levels are in normal range as well. Elevated calcium with low vitamin D can be indicative of parathyroid disease, which presents with many symptoms you described. Good luck..hope you get things figured out....

AHI 4.2 over 29 min
Is an AHI of 4.2 over 29 minutes acceptable? My pressure is set at 8 cm, and my report stated that I did not spend much time at 9cm. It also indicated that my pressure could be set at 9-10 cm for snoring. Does this result sound acceptable? Thanks again.....

new machine -S9- Cflex and ERP the same thing?
WEnt back to the clinic tonite for my new machine ( I had the Fisher Paykel ). They gave me an S9 -CPAP. I asked the DME if it is data compatible, the guy said "no". Not sure if he is right or not. The narrative for my sleep study indicated AHI 4.2 during 29 minutes of CPAP at 8cm. of water. Is this...

Re: Does EPR make a noticable difference?
Hi Gumby, I don't think I am having any centrals. Only indicated OA and OH on my graph. I don't have a narrative that gives me detailed information, but will ask for one when I go to the clinic on Tues. I don't have much info. on my sleep study, other than I have mod-severe sleep apnea. I also remem...

Re: Does EPR make a noticable difference?
Hi Gumby, I am actually confused by your post. When I had my sleep study, my events were eliminated when pressure was set at 8. When I was at 5, 6, and 7 I had events. When I went up to 9 I also had events. I thought the key was to keep your airway open (during inhalation). If my pressure is set at ...

Re: Does EPR make a noticable difference?
Thanks for all the responses. I have been using the machine for 3 weeks. I can not get used to the exhale. It feels like I am having to work at getting my breath out. I too am getting 2-3 hours of sleep per night, max...... I will go to the DME on Tuesday, as they will have a machine with EPR for me...

Re: Does EPR make a noticable difference?
So, does the EPR work on CPAP mode only? What are your pressures?
