Re: Pop-up CA's followed by hypopnea

Doesn't look like you were asleep when any of those events were flagged so they aren't real. Awake/arousal breathing irregularities getting flagged by mistake. False positives if you want to think of them like that. Hi Pugsy, was your deduction of the poster’s awakened state purely by the irregular...

Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers

I see a lot of posts talking about getting bits of foam or not and assuming if you don't get bits of foam there are no issues, but that may not be true. The foam, may be off-gassing carcinogenic chemicals that are invisible and undetectable, but may lead to serious health issues in the future. The c...

Re: What data is most relevant to feeling well & being healthy?

Since I'm being called to task... I ask questions here, without having clear answers to them for myself, in hopes of learning and gaining some perspective, and hopefully help some others in the process. First a little history... I am over 40, happily married with two wonderful pre-teen children and ...

Re: What data is most relevant to feeling well & being healthy?

How about for those with access to PulseOx, Sleep Stage Data, Sleep Duration, or other data that you feel is relevant? What data is most relevant to feeling well & being healthy? and Why? Lets open it up to non-sleep data too. Add in Blood Pressure, Weight, daily steps, Blood sugar, Calories, Carboh...

Re: my ASV data - any ideas/suggestions?

The corresponding peaks in tidal volume with dips in patient triggered breath has me wondering - "what does it mean?" my max IPAP used to be 25 but that was giving my crazy aerophagia and waking me and my girlfriend up all night. toot toot. the 15 has been much better. oh - and another thing to tot...

Re: Sleepyhead quit downloading my data

Rich, I started with a fresh Sleepyhead dataset today and for the first time, using my workaround, successfully loaded PAP, PulseOx, and ZEO data. Therefore, I don't have any of the old DEBUG information. Frankly, I'm happy with the workaround and plan to spend the next few weeks finetuning my PAP s...

Re: Sleepyhead quit downloading my data

I have fully confirmed that Sleepyhead doesn't like the data format from my machine when Breath Rate (Backup Rate) = OFF. Good news is that I have also confirmed that I can just set Breath Rate (Backup Rate)=4bpm and TI (Inspiratory Time) =3.0sec and I never trigger the Breath Rate algorithm, and Sl...

Re: Sleepyhead quit downloading my data

Being frustrated with a non-working ResScan, I downloaded SleepyHead. First download looked great - graphs and summary data were quite adequate for my needs. But I've since lost the graphs. I've obviously done something wrong, but what? Any suggestions? Cheers Hi Bilwakka, you will probably get ans...

Re: Sleepyhead quit downloading my data

In the meantime, I have some questions about Breath Rate (Backup Rate) settings and TI (Inspiratory Time) settings, but will create a seperate thread for that. I found answers to my questions is this informative thread: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=61719&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=Breath+R...

Re: Sleepyhead quit downloading my data

I just remembered to check the settings for the day that SleepyHead imported my nap, but not the full nights data. Only difference is that for my nap, I had the Backup Rate set to AUTO and for the nights sleep, I changed the Backup Rate to OFF! I had the PSmin and PSmax the same during both periods ...

Re: Sleepyhead quit downloading my data

I just noticed that one other setting also correlates with the failures. That setting is PSmin, Minimum Pressure Support. When I have this set to zero, the data imports, but when I have it set to anything else, the data does not import. I guess, it will take a few more nights to work through the com...

Re: Sleepyhead quit downloading my data

OK, so I have been keeping a spreadsheet with my settings and results, just until I get my new machine dialed in. I noticed that the nights that sleepyhead successfully downloaded data, that I have the Backup Rate, Breaths per minute, set to AUTO and that the days that the download failed, I had the...

Re: Sleepyhead quit downloading my data

Hi Pugsy, I just reformatted my card and put it back in the machine and it freshly rewrote the data to the card. Sleepyhead downloads data, but only the days it downloaded previously and the rest of the days show up with no data. ... trying some new stuff... After installing 3 different versions, I ...
