nasal adapter keeps releasing from the air tube

Post by gabagoo » Tue Nov 21, 2023 11:10 am

I can't remember the model mask I have but it has the two rubber pieces that come down the side of your face and each side connects to the nasal piece. One side just started letting go if you slightly turned or put any pressur eon it. I have looked it over closely but can't for the life of me figure out why it keeps detaching. The question I have is there a glue or something I can use that will bond it safely?

We don't like to guess about masks. Please find out which model you are using. It might be helpful to look at masks here - https://www.cpap.com/.

It sounds like the ResMed P30i, N30i or DreamWear.

Eventually, the sillicone tube will no longer hold the pastic connector the mask connects to. Gluing is difficult because the tube is made of silicone and silicone is a poor surface to glue to.

Like time for a new mask.

Granny is 100% correct, good advice is compromised by missing data. Look for labeling on the mask, boxes or purchase information. How do you buy replacement cushionsif you don't know the mask type?
