At Home Sleep Study on cpap.com

Post by Sleepless on LI » Mon Sep 26, 2005 5:43 pm

I don't know if anyone ever saw this, but I found it quite interesting. Never knew there was such a product. Perhaps it is something those with no insurance and no means to borrow a machine and mask would be interested in to find out if they have an SBD.

Why do links to the product pages (such as Lori just posted) never work for me? I always get a screen full of SQL or some other type of errors. Then if I really want to find out what is being talked about, I have to go digging for myself. <grumble>

Lori, it seems like I remember seeing a link to a study of the sleep strips just a few days ago at the top of the page. As I recall, the results of the study weren't really very encouraging. It seems like maybe 25% of the results actually ended up being valid. The others either gave error messages or erroneous results.

Anyone remember the link??

Bill, it's under Misc on the left side where the categories are if the link didn't work for you. Sorry.

And, TXKajun, I just put it out there in case someone reading this site doesn't have any alternative; ie, no insurance. It's maybe better than not knowing any info at all.

No need to apologize. Johnny already contacted me to try to solve the problem. Of course, by then the problem had magically resolved itself .

Not for me it hasn't
SELECT productPageTitle,PName,See FROM PartsTbl WHERE PNum= and Type!='BACKEND' You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'and Type!='BACKEND'' at line 1

I don't have this problem, but would like to know what caused it. Thanks

ozij, it again happened to me. I forwarded the info to Johnny as he requested.

Curious that the problem happened, the didn't, then came back for the same link.

Lori, I went exploring and found the page on my own. Thanks.

Bill,

Glad you finally found the site. I don't know why I open these cans of worms all the time. First the smiley situation, now the links...hope everyone has their issues resolved.

Aug 20, 2005 subject: Sleep Strips

That link goes to an interesting discussion between a sleep tech and the head engineer of the team that invented and developed the sleep strip.

Shoot, Wader...I'd have to wrap a pantyhose leg around the thing to keep it on, probably. LOL!!
