I have an extreme case of obstructive apnea and have been changing settings for years. I live by my machine, yet can't take it everywhere I go. So I rely on older usable machines when I'm in another location. When you change doctors, suppliers, insurance programs, you lose the ability to have additional machinery programmed through a provider, thus making the machine useless when you have new settings. What a scam and misnomer to tell me I can't adjust an older machine to new settings. Somebody needs a brain transplant. As for me, I need my machines (plural) all on the same page.

well, then, why don't you mosey on over to http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual and download, or request as appropriate, the clinical setup manuals for all your old machines, and set them however you want them set.bahamachas wrote:you lose the ability to have additional machinery programmed through a provider, thus making the machine useless when you have new settings. This method works great. And YES.. you can change based on your new evaluation. I lost 50 lbs and needed a lower pressure. My ENT doc didn't know how to program pressure on his device, and wasn't about to figure out.... SO... aha... did it myself. THANKS.

Re: help in changing pressure devilbiss intellipap
There are many reasons why the originally prescribed pressure setting may need to change:
1)Weight gain
2) Weight loss
3) Change in altitude of primary residence/while traveling
I need an increase in pressure but do not want a full sleep study - visiting my local doctor to see what he will agreee to do - if not responsive may reset myself.
