Re: Wrinkles?
It seem ms to me if your mask pushes your skin into a position it isn’t normally in then of course over time it’s going to cause wrinkles in that spot. It’s the same process as laugh lines, right?

Dumb question: finding a DME
I know the saying about dumb questions but I feel so IGNORANT... After using CPAP for so many years, I don’t know how to find another local DME. I’ve almost always bought from CPAP.com. The few times I’ve used a brick and mortar, it’s been the same one. For the life of me, nothing I type into google...

Nasal mask similar to Mirage softgel
It was bound to happen eventually. Resmed is no longer making my beloved Mirage Softgel mask. (Could you hear the whiny voice?). I don’t know if anyone can help with this but I’d sure like a recommendation for a mask as similar to the Softgel as possible!.

Re: S9 dishwasher safe water chamber
Thank you for responding, ChunkyFrog, and Pale Rider! I really appreciate it. My husband got it apart. He applied a much firmer pressure than I was comfortable using.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Re: S9 dishwasher safe water chamber
The dishwasher safe chamber has a 3rd piece of plastic. There is a piece in between the top that lifts off as you describe and the bottom. They refer to it as a “flip lid”. It is firmly attached to the bottom. The directions say to remove that piece for cleaning. How in the heck do I do that? I am l...

S9 dishwasher safe water chamber
I just received a dishwasher safe water chamber for my S9. I’ve always used the other one. How in the devil do you get the “flip lid” apart from the base? I feel stupid!
If I knew how to post a picture, I would.

Re: S9 filter question
Thank you all for your replies. Hopefully I haven’t ruined my machine by using both filters. I expect drawing air through more filters than intended would put a strain on the motor. This the same DME who told me the only reason people get red marks on the bridge of their nose is because they don’t w...

S9 filter question
Hi All, I feel stupid asking this question of S9 users but here goes: When I bought my S9, I was given a black reusable filter to use as well as the white disposable hypoallergenic filters. I don't see reusable filters for an S9 for sale on CPAP.com. Given that and how difficult it is to fit both fi...

Another Sleepyhead Question
RobySue said in her incredibly helpful post about the S9 vs the System One: The Resmed S9 is very picky if anything is written to the SD card by the computer system---this is a problem if you use a Mac or a Windows 8.1 machine and you forget to "lock" the card before inserting it into the computer. ...

Filters: does anyone want...
I've got 6 disposable white filters and 1 of the longer lasting gray filters from my now retired M series. The package says the white ones will also work with the PR System One and Sleep Easy Machines. The packages are opened but they haven't been used.
If anyone wants them, I'll mail them to you.

How often do you replace equipment?
I got my new machine on Wednesday - the S9 Autoset - which made me happy. I told my husband I know I am a true hose head because of how happy it made me. Anyway, after 4 1/2 years on CPAP, I had lost my guidelines as to how often medicare (& therefore my insurance) will pay for replacement parts. I ...
