Re: Airsense and Airfit Pro P10
Thankyou, I am being "flagged" by Resmed's "My Air" daily report. My old machine used to alert me to a leak with a light. This one of course does not...Just a red face. My pillow size is large and the others will not work. After six years of continuous use, my nostrils have expanded somewhat. I have...

Airsense and Airfit Pro P10
I am on my second machine in six years of continuous CPAP use. My new machine is an Airsense by Resmed with P10 nasal pillows. I have been using this now for five months and am continually being flagged that my mask needs adjusting, that is "LEEK" Whatever I do, I continue to have this problem. I ha...

dramatic data change with new FX
I just tried an FX mask for the first time last night with odd results. My leak rate almost doubled My AHI decreased by 30% My AI stayed the same resulting in of course my HI decreasing by 30% I did not use Lansinoh and will try that tonight and watch the results but the change does appear rather od...

AUTOMATIC 90 DAY RESUPPLY QUANDRY
My DME supplier advertises his expertise in resupplying cpap items automatically every 90 days. It is even a major part of his website advertising. Yet every time, I have to call him after 120 days to ask where they are. I always get the same answer. "They are due to be shipped now, You should have ...

Re: What is your favorite nasal PILLOW mask?
I do use the Breeze / LT conversion with the large dilators (yellow) I find the extra length on the pillow works better. I also use the side pads on the LT headgear. I bought both from CPAP.com and they were not expensive. I found that if you pullup a little on the LT medium pillow, then slice throu...

Re: What is your favorite nasal PILLOW mask?
I started out with the Swift LT and loved the comfort and the weight (or lack thereof) After the LT pillows tanked in quality, I tried the headrest with reasonable results but still not satisfied. I found my answer with the LT adapted to use Breeze pillows. cut my leak rate in half and my AI to zero...

Re: diminished returns
Thanks all for the input. I have reverted to the LT mask for most of the time and I changed the headgear yesterday. Last night saw some real improvement so you may be right that a little tweaking may solve the problem. Just have to be patient and try one tweak at a time so I have a definitive answer...

Re: diminished returns
you are right Den. My initial titration used CFlex to ease exhalation at a level of 2. As CFlex appears to be owned by Respironics, i am assuming that my scrip to the DME took that into account and EPR gives some kind of similar result? I can say that I am not breathing through my mouth but The LT j...

diminished returns
I started CPAP November 2009 and was pleasently surprised to find that I had no problem adjusting to the machine. The mask of course was a different matter and it took quite a while and a lot of experimentation to settle on something that worked for me. Nevertheless, I stuck to it and never missed a...

GIVING UP ON SWIFT LT MASK
I am now in my fifth month of cpap and although my therapy is going relatively well, I remain "mask frustrated" I started out with a Fischer Paykel Forma full face mask as I assumed i was a mouth breather. This mask gave me the face of a prize fighter the following morning so I experimented further ...
