Cats do their part to treat OSA

Postby jmaziarz on Tue Nov 03, 2009 8:45 am

I don't think my DME will cover this one though. ;)

I used to resent having to take time out of life to sleep. If I'd known sleep would become such a rare commodity, I would have treasured it more, lingering in it's warm embrace instead of pushing it aside to rush into another busy day.

Cute, but it looks like the vents are being blocked by kitty's paw... I'd keep an eye for it in future.

Get a nasal mask for the cat, and an autopap, and the whole setup is purrfect. :) :)

Do you use milk in the humidifier? :)

Uhm, I do see billable services provide by the feline sleep intervention............I suggest billing with Code: Purrfect with a charge of: 6 mice, 2 cans of tuna, 1 quart of milk, and a catnip pillow!!!!

Sorry Babette, but so long as the claws don't come out, this one does not need a soft Pad A Cheek covering.

This is adorable... I wish I had a photo, but my cat loves the "breeze" that comes out of the mask's safety valve. :)

My cat does too! When she was a baby, lightly blowing in her face would get her to stop bad behavior; now, she basks in the breeze of my cpap mask. She also loves to rub her little kitty cheeks on the hard angles of the mask -- it's a multi-purpose mask. I get sleep therapy, she gets to be groomed and practice her kitty diva poses with her fur blowing in the wind, all at the same time. Who knew?
