My nights are tamed.

Post by KITTYPLAY » Sun Sep 06, 2009 6:35 pm

Well, so far so good, I suppose I'm one of the weird ones, I made it up in my mind, that I would not let the machine rule me. I will not fight it. but will adjust to it.. by fighting it, I saw right away all the negitives popped up. and I found myself complaining. but after I calmed down and went with the flow. I quickly adjusted to the air and mask...my first time using my cpap machine was Aug 17th. only problems I did have at first was bloating. it was awful. but by the time I was going to go to the doctor to complain about it. It ended. I guess it lasted for atlease 2 weeks. I haven't had it since, but I tell you I have never experience such tightness and bloating in my life. it was painful and it would last half the day and slowly disappear by mid noon. WHY IT STOPPED I HAVE NO IDEA. I do have IBS. and don't know if the air from the machine affected my IBS.. This was my main problem, other than that I really haven't had any problems with my cpap or mask. I adjusted to it fairly easily. I find that if I do have a leak, I just readjust my mask, and this takes care of the problem. I can say that I do like both my machine and mask. I get my sleep and sometimes it don't even feel like I have it on my face. I have noticed a change. I don't have headaches like before. and Im not so tired and fatigue like before. plus I don't get up 5 times a night to go to the bathroom. now it's 1st or twice. Now I can say, I can't sleep without my machine. I do it every night. and I'm so happy this has helped me sleep better.
