Re: My Lonely CPAP Hell Experience - UPDATE Success

Team, I started this thread 3 and a half years ago - it started out bad and just didn't get that much better for 3 and a half years. I kept trying and tinkering and going to doctors and failing. And then, about 5 weeks ago, it started to work for me. As Mr. Monk would say, "Here's what happened..." ...

Re: Zeo Personal Sleep Coach?

I had previously sent email to the CTO of Zeo about some items of interest and he wrote back within a few hours. His email address is published in the Zeo forums.

Re: I just can't get the hang of it

Mikeylou, I tried several different pillow arrangements and found that the buckwheat hull pillow sold by CPAP.COM was well worth it for me. The shaped pillows didn't work for me, but the small buckwheat hull pillow made a world of difference. Using it I can easily sleep on my side with my mask on.

Re: Zeo Personal Sleep Coach?

Yes, I meant weeks vs. years. Sorry about that. The way I understand it, Zeo uses different technology than an EEG. An EEG may be more accurate, but what Zeo does is helpful. It appears that Zeo takes the sensor data and feeds in into a neural network that decides what stage of sleep is represented....

Re: Zeo Personal Sleep Coach?

I use a Zeo and APAP each night. This allows me to correlate my breathing and my sleep phase data. This has helped me make more progress in the past few weeks than I have been able to in the past few days. The Zeo does report me being in a light sleep at time when I could swear that I was awake, but...

Re: Zeo Personal Sleep Coach?

Used Zeo Sleep Coach for the first night last night. The headband was comfortable and i had no problem keeping it on all night. I wore it with my Quatro FF mask. For some reason, I used CPAP more last night than normal - maybe i was well motivated to try to collect as much data as possible. Interest...

Re: IntelliPap Smartcode questions

With theintellipap, you don't need a separate card reader. It uses a compact flash card. If you have something that can read a card from a digital camera, you probably can read the Intellipap memory card.

Re: Quattro users - how do you clean your mask?

I find that my Quatro seems to get slick more often than my other masks. This is my first FF mask and maybe that makes a difference. I use the citrus wipes every night before bed, but sometimes after just a few hours the mask is so slick it won't seal. i wondered if the cushion material is different...

Re: why mach doesn't lower press. after reaching press. of 12

This is a problem I had with my M Series Auto CFlex as well. My belief is that in my case, the higher pressure actually causes me to have events. My machine was not able to react in the way that I think was necessary - to back down the pressure until I started breathing again. My sleep study indicat...

Re: Zeo Personal Sleep Coach?

One draw back that i see is that you can't create multiple patient profiles per Zeo. I think it would be helpful if we started using language like "sleeper profile" instead of "patient profile". Right now, it seems that the manufacturers think of their gaol as helping people who deal with patients ...

I like it. I use it several times a week, but not every night. I don't know if it "works", but I will be buying more when what I have runs out.

Re: Resmed Resscan File Format

I have explored the SmartLink database. The current version of the software uses Apache Derby in embedded mode for the database. I have also decoded the most detailed of the data files from the memory card of my machine. It uses 26 byte records. I have everything I need to start on a simple app to r...
