Bonjour,

My 1st reaction is - get those leaks sorted out then review the data.

The leaks look like they are skewing your AHI data a bit. With leaks being so high it then gets hard to make sense of the other data.

Good luck

I agree with what I see - that blue leak graph is unreasonable - mouth breathing?

I do not understand the leak rate, the mask is rated at 40-45 at those pressures. Some of the snores I'm sure are coughs/hacking. My mouth is not dry in the morning and I'm not noticing any seal leaks, and I'm not finding the need to adjust the mask thru the night. With my FFM that would be a different story.

say the mask leak rate was 45 - add 10 % say - gets you to 50 - how much of the time is the blue line above 50?

until you get the leak rate under control all the other event's data are meaningless

Then I am at a complete loss as to how to control these leaks.

Must confess that in looking at the identifiers for the data, am not clear what they really mean.

These are the letters & my best 'guess' (getting more accurate info here will help us)

A (AI)
S (Snore)
H (Hypopnea)
E (?)
L (? (Flow Limitation ?), can't see it meaning leak ? (that seems to be covered in the top chart))
M (?)

Av leak at 60 seems too high. Av pressure isn't too bad.
The Breathing rate at av of 18 seems high to me.
Also the Est av tidal volume 565 appears ok (e.g. mine may average around 630).

Hopefully someone more familiar with this software can clarify the above details where I have put ? marks.

Good luck

E = Exhalation Puff Index - the machine believes you have inhaled through the interface but then exhaled (even partially) through your mouth.
L = large leak (above a certain threshhold I think... I'll have to look this one up again to get exact wording)
M = non-responsive .... now I've heard a couple of accounts explaining this and one of them was that if teh machine responds to hypopneas and pressure gets to a certain (higher) level, and you experience an apnea event, the machine makes some determination that this apnea is central in nature and doesn't respond. I have no official data to back that up. I'll look into this one further as well and maybe get an exact explanation from Devilbiss.

From viewing the Intellipap seminars, I gathet that "non-responding" are events the machine will nor respond to, and not the Respiroincis "non-responsive".

I'll try my FFM tonight and see what happens.
Anyone know what leak rate a Comfortgel Full is supposed to have?
