Re: Tried sleeping in my Recliner.... fail

Sorry to hear some have had problems with mastering the recliner. It's my choice for relaxation and sleep when the bed is not appropriate. I have had two knee replacements in the last 14 months. Moved my TV tray and CPAP to the family room and spent several nights in the recliner each time. Slept go...

Re: Info on so called "Automatic" cpap machine.

When it comes time for the new machine you may want to check back here so you can get the information needed to give direction to your sleep Dr. On how to write the Rx for a new APAP. After 6 years on an S8 Elite I sure am happy with my new S9 Autoset. I learned how to write the Rx here, thanks for ...

Re: anyone near cleveland, helen, blairsville ga with a resmed?

Radio Shack has power chords that will work. Take your machine in and they will get you the right cord. Please don't ask how I know this
Edit: my machine was the elite and there was just a cord, it does not have the 12 volt converter brick

Re: should I stay or should I go

Ask if they will order it for you. The DME I changed to was Resperonics only, however, they said they would order whatever machine I wanted and it was Rx'd by a Dr. Even knowing nothing about the machine they, Respricare, set the machine up and then was glad to listen to what I had to say about ResM...

Carbonman, You keep making me envious of scenery like that, I am going to take my camera with me again onto the flats of E. Central IL and make you really feel bad that you have to look at such beautiful sites. I've completed the first of triple sevens here, looking forward to the next time I ride u...

Re: O/T Hearing Aid Forums?

DaveL You might try doing some reading here http://www.hearingaidforums.com/index.php . I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your HAs. I have had mine (2) CIC, completely in canal, long enough that they no longer make them, they now have newer and improved. If I should get in a hurry...

it was misdiagnosed by my PCP, so it was 6 weeks later before I was seen and correctly diagnosed Now you're scaring me! It happened in Jan. My (now former!) PCP gave me two rounds of steroid shots and two weeks of walking around in a foam bootie before he gave up and sent me to the Ortho-guy. PCP s...

Re: Homemade chin strap ideas?

When I was a chin strap user sweatbands were my go to chin strap. I also liked using the ACE ankle wrap as a chin strap. Wide, flexible, comfortable and there is enough of the wrap that if you don't like the first one you can try again.

Good luck,

Fred

Re: Septoplasty and turbinate reduction

Gerry,

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'll come up and fill in for you if need be....I think I can still remember how to make the lights flash and the siren wail. After that I won't be much good.

Blessings,

Fred
