Someone mentioned all the kitty avatars on another thread...

I noticed that too!

I even have one!

I have dogs, three dobermans, four chickens, and a feral (now domesticated) cat..

so, here I am on the board, and I have a cat... its a very cool cat too.. sleeps with big dogs, hunts rats, likes to ride in the car.

I have 2 cats. the one in my avatar and her sister. They were rescue kitties. I got them when they were 3 months old. They are now 7 yrs. old.

Three rats, two labrador retrievers, two cats, two hermit crabs, two huge goldfish, all belonging to my daughter who has gone off to college and left me to take care of them.

One of the labs sleeps with me and got all tangled in my hose last night because she crept up to the top of the bed after I fell asleep. Then again, the fact that she was still ON the bed is evidence that I must not be thrashing around in my sleep as much since I started on the CPAP

Sure do! we have six We work with Siamese Cat Rescue and some were fosters. The cat in my profile picture is Daytona and we show him in the Household Pet Class in CFA shows. He came to us as a sickly foster kitten and we couldn't stand to part with him. Two years ago he was the Best Household Pet in the CFA Southern Region - he's an amazing cat. So are the other 5 - they just prefer not to be little super stars.

We also have a rescued black Lab and American Eskimo Dog and a tank full of fish.

We weren't blessed with kids so we filled our house with homesless dogs and cats instead.

I have a cat. His name is Chuck. He is a jerk and he hates everyone. We are truly kindred spirits, so I keep him around. He enjoys playing fetch, taunting the dog, checking that gravity still exists and leaving hairballs in places that defy logic.

This is my jerkbag sitting on top of a kitchen cabinet, angry that he'd been found there and would not be able to blitzkreig anyone.
