Re: Sore nose

Thankyou for your suggestion. I've bought some Lansinoh, so I'll give it a shot
Cheers

Sore nose

I have just started using a Pilairo. It's very light, and quite comfortable, except that when I lie on my side, which is preferred, it irritates the inside of the nostril. Can anyone suggest if this is a problem with my technique, or am I just weird?

Re: How to prevent pressure leakage through lips

I use pillows, and was having trouble with moth leaks also, so I tried taping. I found that Micropore and the CM blue taps just peeled off during the bight, so I started using Elastoplast strapping tape. It stays on all night, and is easy to remove ('m clean shaven) and my mouth lakes have gone. But...

Re: Rainout

Kopoloff had serious rainout problems. He flooded the hose, bed, bedroom floor and finally the street. Looked out the window and there were cars floating away. National emergency declared, thousands evacuated to higher ground. (Lucky the H4i has a small reservoir or it could have resulted in rising ...

Re: Mask fit issues (New Invention )

Kopoloff's face is a different shape when he is lying down as opposed to standing up. Different when lying on his side to on his back.

How do you resolve this difficulty?

Eureka

Despite the avatar, Kopoloff has never been a mouth taper. Never thought he needed to. But over the last few months, his leak rate has been rising. Tried chinstraps, holding tongue on the roof of mouth, lanolin paste and everything else that could possible be the cause. He uses nitrogen in our car t...

Re: OT: What does everybody do for a living?

What do I do for a living

Well, to live I must eat, so I forage for fruit and leaves, I like to eat in the morning.
To stay alive I must do what my Mum taught me, which is to stay away from the nasty tigers, jaguars and crocodiles.
And for fun, I like to swim.

Re: I do have a new RESMED S9

Question on the S9... what is the humidifier tank like? Larger or smaller than what you have used before. Can it be fully opened to be cleaned, or is it like the stock H4i tank that you cannot open and need to clean by sloshing vinegar/water around in it? The H4i tank is easily opened - 1 clip and ...
