OT:How many use The chat room and how can one person chat?

Do many of you use the chat room?
The other burning question is How can ONE person chat? Sometimes when I sign on I see one person in the chat room. Are they talking to themselves? Perhaps they have bigger problems than this forum can handle?

I don't chat very much, type to slow with one finger!! One person chatting is an invatation from someone wanting to chat. You are being invited to come chat with them!!

Sometimes people enter the chat room and wait for someone to come in. Otherwise, it says "0 chatting live", which may not entice people to go in.

I often chat with myself. Occasionally I argue with myself. On bad days I lose the arguments .

The advantage of chatting with oneself is that no computer is necessary.

Used the CHAT room for the first time last night. Great way to chat with others and has questions answered quickly.

i do occasionally use the chatroom as well. my sign in name remains the same. sometimes it's quiet and other times it's a hopping place to be.
