I was wondering how you're doing and if you've gotten to a Dr. yet? Please give us an update on your condition.
Thanks! Amy

Thanks Yawn. I am doing OK. I go to my doctors tomorrow at 8am. I was feeling OK today. Still had the pressure but not like yesterday. After brushing my teeth and using the listerine premouth was first it has come back. Kind of feels like someone pushing against my adams apple. I know I can breath though because I can inhale through my nose and talk fine. It is just a very strange feeling. Thanks for asking. I will let you know what the Doc says tomorrow.

I hope it's nothing serious. I'll be anxious to hear what he/she tells you.

My doctor think it is my GERD acting up. I stopped taking nexium shortly after using my CPAP because the symptoms at night stopped. He gave me some samples of nexium to try. So far I think it is working. I do not have that feeling as of yet today.

So when were you diagnosed with Sleep apnea Yawn? I was back in April I believe.

Thanks for the concern.

Hi Rockside,
I am so happy for you . I mean, GERD isn't fun but it's better than a heart attack or stroke. I also have trouble with acid reflux and I take Prilosec when it bothers me. I should take it every day but it doesn't always bother me and I already take enough pills.
I was officially diagnosed with OSA in July but I was pretty sure I had it for at least a year prior to that. I just didn't want to believe it so I put off getting tested for as long as I could. It got so bad I was afraid to drive or make any major decisions. I've been using my CPAP for about 5 weeks and I don't have any trouble (now) with keeping my mask on all night...I use the Swift. I'm still feeling very tired, which discourages me at times...I look forward to the days that I start to feel "refreshed".
My doctor says all my problems will disappear if I could manage to lose 100 lbs. I'm trying....but it's hard.
