Re: severe aerophagia runing life

Immediate Air Swallowing: I can feel air going straight into my stomach the moment I put the mask on, even while fully awake. Are you practicing keeping the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth? The tip should be close to, if not touching, your two front teeth. I fell and injured my nose Ha...

Re: People who say they feel like there suffocating at low cpap pressure

I mean, the machine even at 5, is blowing a hurricane either up your nose or in your face. If that's your case, I suspect you are using a nasal-only interface while breathing through your mouth, or you are having major leaks. A properly operating CPAP system does not "blow" air into the airway. It ...

Re: What makes a machine say CA (central apnea / clear airway)?

Should it really be doing that? s What is behind this? What are you really concerned about? Do you feel energetic during the day? Do you have excess sleepiness during the day? Just before bedtime, do you feel tired but not stressed? Reading this forum, one might think the objective is to achieve fi...

Re: Heated tube for Resvent iBreeze?

The obvious solution is a heated hose, to keep the temperature of the inside surface of the hose above the dew point of the humidified air. You could try a homemade hose cover (https://www.cpap.com/collections/hose-cover?_pos=1&_psq=hose+cover&_ss=e&_v=1.0) before investing in a Comfortline stand-a...

The AirSense 10 and 11 have model names specifically called CPAP, don't accidently get an AirSense 10/11 CPAP model. They're bricks.

Re: Resmed AirSense 10 AutoSet - Is automatic setup better than fixed pressure?

4-20 is the very definition of a horribly misconfigured APAP. I still smile fondly every time this comes up. My former sleep doctor, who was very good otherwise, would get visibly aggravated when I told her I would not use 4 - 20. I had done enough experimenting to know that I needed a minimum of 1...

Re: Heated CPAP Tube ClimateLineAir for Resmed S10 AutoSet

You had a lot of arousals between 5 - 7 AM. Was the congestion bothering you then? Here is what I would do -----> 1. As mentioned before, you could experiment with turning your humidity setting down a point per night to see if the congestion improves without causing nasal dryness. 2. Personally, I w...
