Re: Will a Nasal Mask work with high pressures?
I use a nasal mask and I have the same pressures, 21/17. I cant get a FFM to seal with these pressures and have had much better luck with my nasal mask.

Re: Do you use heated or cold water?
Since I use the System One I with the humidity control I prefer to use heated water from warm to hot. I think I get the best sleep like this compared to cold water. I can actually tell a difference in comfort when using warm or hot water as opposed to cold water.

Scale in the humidifier tank
Okay, I am guilty of not cleaning my tank as often as I should. So now I have this scale in the bottom of my tank and no amount of scrubbing will get it out. Is there anything I can put in the tank and let it soak that will break up this scale? Any help is appreciated.

Re: My new case arrived at last
Well I actually got mine from Ebay for around $136 with free shipping. The store name was "Buy.com". The pick and pluck foam was easy to form to my equipment and with a little spray adhesive everything stays where it should. These cases come with a lifetime warranty as well which I think makes it a ...

My new case arrived at last
After much deliberation following a previous post concerning the bag for the PR System one I ordered a Pelican case which finally got here today. I liked it as soon as I got it out of the box. This thing is military and NATO approved and is the largest allowable carry-on by the TSA. It is dust proof...

Re: Mask Leak Rate Experiment
That is odd how the machine only recognizes one type of mask. Why would a manufacturer do that when there are so many different masks? I too suspect that the problem lies in the mask leak rate setting but if that can't be changed for a different brand of mask then what. The RT seems like a real nitw...

Re: Can less HH water usage be contributed to less Mask Leaks ?
A general feeling of tiredness the next day can be attributed to mask leaks but they shouldn't result In using less Humidifier water. The air is still passing through the chamber before reaching the mask whether the mask leaks or not. Less water usage will more than likely be caused by the humidity ...

Re: Can stress effect sleep quality?
Thats the weird thing about it. I sleep soundly all night long and dont wake up until the alarm goes off and my numbers remain the same but i feel like crap all day. Maybe my subconscience is still going on and on while I sleep, thinking about everything going on. Does that make any sense?

Can stress effect sleep quality?
I know this may sound like a mundane queston to some but I am wondering if a person on CPAP who is experiencing high levels of stress may experience poorer sleep quality than normal. If you get reasonably consistent results each night using CPAP then why a downturn in the way you feel during the day...
