My DME was very helpful (lincare) don't know what they did with he insurance; I don't think I will be out any more. I was doing great on the Remstar plus, and expect to do even better on the Auto.
Couple of questions though, my DME used the default set ups. The pressure range is 4-20, and she said it should settle in on my sleep study pressure of 9, so I don’t need the ramp. I find a beginning pressure of 4 a little low, and have to force myself to breath through it versus when I used the ramp feature on my Remstar plus. I wonder if I should go ahead and set the pressures to say, 6-13 and use the ramp feature. If I wake up in the middle of the night, sometimes a little more pressure is great, am in process of getting software, card readers, etc

How exciting! You'll love it! If it were me, I would set the minimum pressure to 7 or 8 (I personally feel like I'm starving for air at less than 8cm). I'd set the maximum at 11. General consensus is the tighter the range, the better the treatment. I never use the ramp function because starting at 8 works just fine for me. With the software you'll instantly see where you're spending the majority of your night so you can fine-tune it as you go along.

Yes, it is simple. Do you have the manual?frostman wrote: I wonder if I should go ahead and set the pressures to say, 6-13 and use the ramp feature.
