Sounds like the man was so near death for many reasons and that was not taken into consideration ...

ResMed C-Series Tango

I have a Remstar Plus and was thinking about a ResMed C-Series Tango for a back up and to use for travel assuming it would be lighter too. I read it is like a high end hair dryer. The one question I have can one adjust the pressure as easy as with the Remstar Plus where you just hold down two button...

Re: FAA regs on cpap i nflight, new in 5_2009

I only have problems and snore when laying down so unless they have beds the plane I would be OK without my CPAP. I am thankful my condition must be much less demanding than some of you experience or at least no one complained that I snored.

Well soon with national health care these problems will be a thing of the past because the government will take care of it all.

Re: Searching for cure for red marks around nose

I use the res med mirage micro mask and get really bad red marks all around my nose. This has been going on continually for 2 months and is no longer acceptable. Any suggestions are appreciated and welcome. Thank you. I found I had my straps too tight which also made the leaking worse plus take a h...

Re: frustrated

Hang in there. Expect nothing from those you give money except the hardware. You will have to train yourself and others have already put you on the right track. Not advisable but I self treated by buying used equipment and now nearly 5 years later that is still working out for me so you can train yo...

Re: DO You Have Confidence Your Sleep Study Is Accurate?

After knowing others with similar stories I just skipped the sleep study and bought used machines. Maybe not smart but at the time money/time was not in good supply. This August will be five years of CPAP use. I agree with the doctor that the data brought from home collected in real time in a real b...

Re: OT: OBAMA SOAKS THE RICH: CHURCHES, DAY CARE, HOMELESS SHELT

I do see Obama's point of view even if I do not agree with it.

He sees the taxes avoided by making gifts personally is funneling away tax dollars that he would other wise have for his budget and that he could control what groups get the money and which do not.

Re: O2 Meter ?

Which finger do you use with your oximeter? I get nearly a 2 points higher reading off the middle finger vs. the index finger. My 11 year old son said because the middle finger is bigger the meter gets a better reading.

Re: Brain Structural Changes in Obstructive Sleep Apnea

I know after a few weeks my "brain cloud" lifted after getting my CPAP machine and I said OMG what a mess my company is in. Four months later I hired a business major who is now president of our company.

That is just thw vocational plus side of getting the CPAP.
