My new Devilbiss IntellPAP review

Wow! I slept fantastic last night! I had my trusty PB Goodnight 420E for 10 years before I broke it a few days ago (fell off the nightstand). This machine stepped right in and performed fantastic. Neither my wife nor I slept the first night with the machine, however. SmartFlex is enabled by default ...

Thank you cpaptalk.

Good morning everyone, It's been some time since I visited. I hope everyone is sleeping well. I just wanted to post a note of thanks for all that you do. Last night my 420E malfunctioned and using the resources here I was able to determine that I had gotten water in the sensor line during cleaning. ...

Snoregirl, Certainly you're not implying that I did something dishonest? CPAP.com arranged a warranty adjustment via Puritan-Bennett so they're not out anything. Turns out PB warranties their product two years- unconditionally. It reminds me of the Craftsman tool warranty. I'm sorry if I didn't make...

Final update on this: First time I sent the claim to Blue Cross/Blue Shield they "never got it", so I had to fax it to them. We got a check last Wednesday for 80%!!! Cool! So here's the score: Insurance buys first CPAP machine. Car runs over CPAP machine. Chuck is even. Chuck buys replacement CPAP m...

Good morning, It occurred to me that I failed to update this thread. Things ended up turning out swimmingly! CPAP.com took back the damaged unit and replaced it with a brand new unit ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I turned the receipt into my insurance company and I expect that they'll re-imb...

Y'all, Thanks so much for your suggestions. If at all possible I would like to see this thing get repaired. My wife and I just purchased a weekend get-away at the lake and so it would be ultra-convenient to have two machines. So I sent an e-mail as suggested to sales@cpap.com. Stay tuned and I will ...

Heard this before? CPAP machine run over by car!!!

Good morning all! On the way to the lake Thursday night my wife and I stopped off for some groceries. I had to re-pack the car to accomodate the groceries. Come bed-time don't you know NO CPAP MACHINE!! So we call the grocery store and they found it in the parking lot. Almost an hour round-trip to r...

Hello! You should have NO problem. Last week I flew to Newark with it and in just a few hours I'm off to Detroit. I've been addicted to this machine since last August and although I don't travel much at all (these past two weeks are really unusual) I have flown perhaps five times with it and never h...

Another vote for the PB 420E! Of course, I have no frame of reference because this is my first machine. But I LOVE it. I'm sleeping like a baby which means I have tons of energy to use to annoy people!

I'm SURE it didn't come to me in a dream. I wasn't sleeping well those days.

I was referred from the "other" cpap forum. I probably found that one via Yahoo! but I can't remember. My memory wasn't real good back then.

Derek >>> Kudos on your knowledge of Ohm's Law!

To be accurate, current is drawn. Power is measured in watts.

Chuck, Say it isn't so!!!!! This is the first time I've ever run across anyone for whom the heated hose did NOT eliminate rainout. What a bummer! Since you have the PB420e you must have the heated hose with the sensor line and the piggyback power connector. When you have it on, can you tell if it's...

Y'all, The heated hose from dan unda did not work for me! My prescription is for humidificated air and I've tried it several times but always wake up soaked, heated hose or not. Tried it again last week since the weather started to get cold I figured the warm air would be nice. Wrong! It was a monso...

Bobbie, I've had mine now since the beginning of August. Each morning I take wash it off with Johnson's baby soap and let it air dry. It's been great. Perhaps you might try monkeying with the little adjustment between the forhead brace part and the mask thingy that controls the angle of attack? The ...

CPAP WORKS! I have been on it for two months now and am a totally new person! With CPAP, I:

- have more energy!
- can stay awake in boring afternoon meetings!
- have not crashed my car into the median since July!
- can stay up past 9pm!
- can concentrate!
- just feel better!
