Re: SLEEP NUMBER MATTRESS OWNERS - WHICH SERIES MODEL?

We've had an I8 sleep number bed since October, 2010. It is the most comfortable bed we have ever had. One of the great features is that you can adjust the bed to how you feel. I can always find an adjustment to relieve pressure points and provide more or less support to my back as needed. You do ne...

Re: Camping Battery Setup for an Resmed S9 Autoset

Apparently the price is special for the road shows at costco. If they didn't have CPAP on their sign for uses, I wouldn't even have stopped. Also, according to the manual with the AGM battery, I can charge it while running devices off of it. So it may work well as a power source back up in the event...

Re: Camping Battery Setup for an Resmed S9 Autoset

That looks like a nice setup. The GoalZero battery I have is 12 lbs and 150 Watts. Its' cost was $129.00. It does include an inverter, a usb port, and a built in charger. But I can run directly from DC as well. Your battery life is comparable to the 15 hrs. I observed with mine, but I think your set...

Re: Camping Battery Setup for an Resmed S9 Autoset

Yes, I will be on the road more than 5 hours each day. So I expect that should be enough to recharge the battery.

Re: Camping Battery Setup for an Resmed S9 Autoset

I'm going to charge mine with DC power from my motorcycle. The battery is supposed to charge in 5 hours for a full charge. I got, at home, about 15 hours run time on the battery with my DC-12 converter with my S8 autoset/without humidifier, before the machine shut down. So I will have to charge it e...

I have more than one type of mask. If and when my skin starts to break down, I change the mask.

Re: Has anyone used the GoalZero Escape 150 battery?

As said through many threads, the humidifier uses more energy than the cpap/apap. I do think they have a larger unit that might meet your needs. You will have to go to their link for products. It also depends on your unit and settings as far as power consumption. What attracted me to this product wa...

Re: Camping Battery Setup for an Resmed S9 Autoset

I look forward to your report. I have the DC adapter for use in my motorhome and considering the battery for when I am off in a tent somewhere. A couple of nights holding a charge is not sufficient for me. However, I see that the battery can be directly charged from a solar array. I am considering ...

Re: Camping Battery Setup for an Resmed S9 Autoset

I too, am looking to do some motorcycle camping. I found a battery, with built in inverter usb and dc outputs and can be charged by ac, solar and dc power outlet. It's around 13 pounds and I ran it 10 hours last night. Battery was $129 plus $38 for the adapter for charging from dc. The battery indic...

Re: Has anyone used the GoalZero Escape 150 battery?

Tried it last night. It looks as if I will be able to get 10+ hours of running time from one charge, with my resmed S8 Autoset and DC 12 converter. I am intending to charge it from the power outlet on my motorcycle. Charge time is supposed to be 5 hours. It doesn't seem to be a bad deal as I got the...

Re: using cpap in a car

Is there a way where I can use my cpap in my car? If there is some sort of adopter to use, please provide the name, approximate cost and where I can purchase. Thank you very much for any information you can provide. Perhaps more information could be provided? type of machine awake or not awake in v...

Has anyone used the GoalZero Escape 150 battery?

Hi, It's been a while since I have been on this forum. I just purchased a GoalZero Escape 150 battery http://www.goalzero.com/shop/p/16/Escape-150-Power-Pack/2:2/ . It claims to be good for use with CPAP machines. I guess I will find out, as I charged it today and will try it with a resmed dc conver...

Re: Travel CPAP - on a motorcycle

You reminded me of a time when I was in PA with my CPAP. I had forgotten to pack the power cord. Fortunately, it was the same as a cord used to power a computer printer. After a short ride to Radio Shack, all was good.

Now I check twice to see that I have everything, before I leave the house.
