Question re ResMed s-7 Elite software & monitoring

Post by dsm » Sat Jul 16, 2005 10:56 pm

Does anyone use the software that analyses the ResMed S-7 output ?

Is it possible to do this for oneself . I believe there is a free download of software that allows an S-7 data to be sent to a ResMed server & managed remotely.

I can borrow an S-7 elite & thus if the software was free or much cheaper than RemStar maybe I could use it for a while to see the data & what happens at night.

Any comments anyone

Thanks

No point, the S7 Elite is a fixed level CPA that records usage data not much more unless you havea auto CPAP model.

But the Elite & Spirit are physically the same box. In fact ResMed sell a *software* only upgrade to turn the Elite into an AUTO Spirit.

So this tells me they probably already record the same data or something very similar.
