I would like to thank all the people on this forum who have given me advice, help, encouragement, understanding, and support.

As a newbie who was diagnosed with severe OSA a couple of months ago, I don't mind telling you I was a bit terrified about being diagnosed with a condition that could not be cured with pills, an injection, rest, surgery, physical therapy or by any other traditional medical means.

The kind people on this forum have been a 'life saver' to me. I am lucky to have a good health insurance policy which includes a DME provider. But, I can honestly tell you the support provided by the DME pales in comparison to the support I have gotten (and you can get) from this forum. I've been to thousands of Internet sites, and this is one of the most useful sites I have ever encountered.

I will continue to ask questions and at times tell what my experiences have been in case other newbies can benefit from what I've been going through.

My new AUTOPAP has been about 1000% more effective than my 'older' CPAP. I would strongly encourage anyone considering CPAP vs AUTOPAP to give AUTOAP a try. On the CPAP.COM site, they only appear to be about $100 more than a regular CPAP. AUTOPAPs are worth their weight in gold IMHO.

And again, thank you everyone for all your advice and support!

With much appreciation and gratitude,

SnoreNoMore2005

I agree wholeheartedly re the positive and helpful support so freely available on this forum.

I feel I have learned so much in such a short time by reading the distilled experience and wisdom from so many others who have gone down the OSA path.

The whole tone of this forum is very supportive and positive.

A home from home

My thanks too to all who add their support and knowledge in helping us newcomers.

I can echo all you've said...this place has been a great source of comfort, encouragement and information and has given me the confidence to pursue the treatment I need w/out settling for something substandard. I do feel like I have friends here that share a unique situation. Terry
