Cflex & Pressure

Post by luke » Tue Dec 09, 2008 8:49 am

I know some on this board claim cflex is a comfort only feature but some have implied that
it changed their therapy. I've been on this cpap thing 5 weeks now and the whole time it was
using cflex at 3. If I switch it off will it have any affect on the pressure ? If anything I think it
could mean I could lower the pressure by maybe .5 or possibly 1 and get the same therapy??

Sounds like a logical possibility to me

Try it. That is another wonderful thing about having the software. You can try it and not worry about having to pay $$$ to go back into the sleep lab to test the possibility.

With every change you make comes a change in results. Does turning off C-Flex make a difference in you treatment, only if it causes you to not be as happy with the way you sleep. Jim

Treatment wise it causes little difference.
