i need some encourgement/help

HELP! i have been using cpap for 10 months and have gone thru 4 different masks and i am ready to chuck it all in the garbage. I am a mouth breather so of course they gave me a nasal mask! tried very hard to use it with a chin strap horrible experience. Went to a ff mask and i had such horribe gas pain and nothing i tried worked but i did try it for a couple of months, then tried the nasal air 1 (got it for free) and i thought i hit pay dirt. worked well for a couple of weeks maybe, i still used a chin strap and tape to keep it on my face, Then i started taking it off in the middle of the night and i cannot get used to it now i started having some sort of allergy? to something so i had runny nose, eyes and sneezing something horrible, so my nose was red and sore so i used a gel called AYRE and did not help much so i used baby butt cream and that helped alot. I thought i would try yet another mask so i went to the hybrid and my nose holes are quite small and i am using the small nose pieces and they are hard to put in my nose and i am still pulling the mask off sometime during the night. I have severe insomnia so i take ambien. I am trying to be consistent and be a trooper but i actually feel like a whiner but i need some major help. i have talked to my dme and they are nice but not many ideas, DO YOU REALLY GET USED TO ALL OF THIS? Can you list your machine, and what settings you are at? If you go up to the "user control panel" and select the text version.

I too am a mouth breather, and any full face mask beyond the Mirage Liberty I get major claustrophobia ..

Do you use the ramp or settling feature on your machine?

Yes, you could have an allergy to the material your mask is made of.
