Re: Poll: Are you happy with your current supplier? VOTE Please
I hated my old supplier which I dissed and bought from Cpap.com. But my insurance switched to Apria and at first I was worried about such a big company. But they have been a joy to deal with, at least in Houston, and I really like them. I recently had my humidifier start flashing a LED light, and af...

Re: New problems with Swift LT pillows
I cured any leak problems by putting a light coating of AYRE saline salve in my nose before retiring. Since August I can't think of a single time it has leaked since starting this. so give it a try, I buy it at Walgreens.

Bill, you will miss the little bugger. I love mine, I have a blast in it and it takes all the abuse I am putting it through. It would be hard to not have one now that I do.

Re: After a long respite, I thought I would say hello
Well, BillFlowers thanks for getting me off my duff and posting again. Good to hear from you. I did retire and am running the travel agency as an online business and just when I felt like I had the time to relax, Hurricane Ike hit and boom, house in shambles. For a good while, had to fight with insu...

Re: Ayr Saline Nasal Pump Spray
Ayr just makes good products! I use it as well and found it with Alos Vera in it and it really has made a difference as I have allergies that make my nose quite raw but I like nasal pillows.

Re: Bad move switching to Apria?
My insurance went to Apria only and I had been using another for years as well as our host. I had heard some bad things about them so I was quite mad at the change, but now that they have fought to get me the very best BiPap, and the Swift LT and send me a new hose and replacement Swifts every six m...

Re: Apria
I do like some of the early rock and roll but I have to admit, I am a rock blues fan, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, etc. Hard to believe when I see the glare off my scalp and the grey of my beard but I used to have hair like Wolfman Jack and wore striped bell bottoms and played eigh...

Apria
For years I have heard horror stories about Apria and when my insurance went to them exclusively, I was very disappointed. However, as I needed a new machine and mask and my insurance agreed it was time for replacement, I contacted Apria and found them to be very easy to work with. My doctor wanted ...

Re: Which facemask with a short beard?
I agree with Gumby's suggestions. Having a beard myself, I also had good luck with the Breeze because it applies pressure from the top. I am currently trying the new Swift LT and I am liking it more every night. The large pillows negate a lot of the pressure on the nose.

Re: Opit-Life vs. Mirage Swift LT
I have used both and am a fan of both. I used the old Swift for well over a year and I like it a lot except for the fact that I am a side sleeper as well and a tosser and turner. I have woke up many times with the hose wrapped around my neck (my wife denies any involvement ). But it sealed well and ...

Re: Does Vinegar Really Disinfect?
In all the years I have been on Cpap, I have not used anything BUT vinegar to clean and disinfect my equipment. I have never had any scale, mold, or anything else and I have never had any infection or colds in this time. And I have a very compromised immune system...in fact I am on disability becaus...

Approved to replace all my cpap equipment by insurance!
Now that I can replace all my equipment after five years, I am hoping to upgrade from straight cpap to a biPap auto so that I can be treating myself the best possible. I like the Swiftand the Aura the best right now for masks. I do want my new machine humidified. So with full replacement and non out...

Cpap Cruise or Conference
Hello everyone! I am still around though have not been as active on the list. But I am still a hosehead and I would love to put this thing together and meet everyone in person. I am a certified specialist in all cruise lines, resorts, Las Vegas and own my own Agency Franchise. So I can put together ...
