Re: Is my mask and Auto-Trial reading me accurately? HELP!
Hi, ok glad to know some of that. Dumb question maybe, but when did you last get your eyes checked? Not everything's about OSA/Cpap. Second, again, your meds may well be having an effect on things in ways you may not appreciate, and it's important to look into that and separate what is only a Cpap ...

Re: Is my mask and Auto-Trial reading me accurately? HELP!
It would help so much (to help you) if you'd stick to your original thread so we can follow the history. I'm not going back to try and find answers - can't remember if you were asked what meds you might be on - but depending on the answer they might be impacting your sleep. I guess there's an anxie...

Jimmy's CPAP experience. (Formerly my HELP! thread)
My eyes are pressure tired which tells me I'm not sleeping well and also tonight I've had to have woken up once per hour. I did have 2mg of Ativan a day and a half before when I couldn't sleep and am wondering if the rebound could cause the wake ups. Regardless I'm tired as heck in my eyes. (Does an...

Semi-Off Topic: How to tackle insomnia Fast? Help Needed
So I THINK I've found a good mask and setting finally on my machine but the stress got so bad to make it happened with successive, horrible nights of sleep building up which caused me to make a spur of the moment appointment with my Sleep Doc and do a fitting, that now I'm having bouts of insomnia. ...

Re: Implantable device may help some sleep apnea sufferers
So the idea is to implant something that sends shocks to my throat under my skin and control it with a remote. What if there's a malfinction?

Re: Ideas to keep my throat lubricated with LESS humidity.
This may not help you, but I had problems with nose tickling too. I read somewhere that the issue was likely nose hair, even though the itching feels external. you're welcome. Perhaps it was you. If so thank you very much. I did not remember exactly where I read it. of course I can't promise that i...

Re: Ideas to keep my throat lubricated with LESS humidity.
GERD can cause this, as well as mouth breathing. Has an ENT looked at your throat lately? I mean... He's a good singer for Key West but I didn't know he could cause my CPAP therapy to be bad... https://youtu.be/AU4J5hJ5ZmI So ya. ENT needs to be my next step WHENEVER this Medicaid kicks back in.. F...

Re: Nasal Congestion --- Sinusitis and Nasal Polyps
I had nasal polyps and a deviated septum repaired 4 years ago. Nasal polyps can become cancerous and a deviated septum can cause breathing problems. The surgery was not terrible, but I was not able to use my CPAP for about 5 days. The surgery made no difference in my CPAP therapy. Pressures remaine...

Ideas to keep my throat lubricated with LESS humidity.
I don't know why, buy humidity in my CPAP makes me feel like death the next day. I've always had bad allergies since I was little and I tend to notice that unless my machine is on a low humidity setting I will wake up in the middle of the night and my head feels like I've been suffocating for a few ...

Re: Low Tolerance for CPAP
As far as the restless leg here's an interesting fact. I was getting it BAD every night. But then I noticed something after I got 2 different mattresses - 1 firmer and one softer. The SOFTER one seemed to be the one that kicked up my restless leg WAY MORE than when I'd lie on the firm mattress. Als...

Re: Is CPAP about to give me a Stroke?
I get some whole arm numbness almost every night. Highly annoying but goes away quickly with a change in position. Pretty sure it is related to TOS Thoracic Outlet Syndrome...nerve gets pinched when I lay on my side and it happens on either side. Ya. Reading more and more and not noticing this duri...

Re: Is CPAP about to give me a Stroke?
It MIGHT be that I was trying to get my Airfit F10 to fit but that thing leaks all over so I keep tightening and tightening. Classic example of doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Air cushion masks can't inflate and seal when you mash them onto your face. They need a...
