Re: Turning Off Aflex and Cflex and CRASEERS
My problem with the cflex is likely due to the algorithm it uses. The pressure relief with cflex is only for the beginning of the exhale. Yes, you get immediately relief as you exhale, but the prescribed pressure comes back a little 'early' before the next expected inhale. My autonomic brain tries ...

Re: Yup--I may now be paranoid with DME's
So I went into this with naivite, and driven by a desire to do what I needed to--worry about the financial part later. And I bet there are tons of other folks here who followed that same pattern. I certainly did. I'm one of the people diagnosed in September and on a machine in October like Diver ta...

Re: Hybrid Test-Drive Continues
Thanks, I'm really anxious and curious about this mask. And I have plenty of pantyhose to use if I need it!

Re: Sort of like a mini poll.. Which machine do you use and why?
So why did you choose the machine that you have? Likes and dislikes... I use the Respironics M series, because it has the Brick, w/extra cords and the annoying, beacons of blue light. Ha! The lights don't bother me much, and I'm really fussy about light in the bedroom. We have a sock over the light...

Re: need help with leak rate
I do have the Pro, but I can't find it in the equipment list. This was the closest one I could find. I'll just go delete the stuff in my signature, all it's doing is causing confusion. EDIT: I just looked at my profile and I do have "M Series Pro Cflex CPAP Machine" listed. I don't know where the Pl...

Re: need help with leak rate
Thanks DreamStalker. So will I need some kind of software reader for my Smart Card? The place I bought the CPAP from says they can do printouts of the data for me, and they're doing one Monday (I have a follow up with the doctor on Tuesday) but I admit I was really disappointed to see the machine ju...

need help with leak rate
I am seriously confused about leaks! I have a Remstar Pro M series with C-Flex, set to pressure of 7cm with the C-Flex exhalation pressure of 5cm (or -2 on exhalation). I have a full face ComfortGel mask. The best I can tell from the little chart thingie in the booklet, the exhaust leak is about 25....

Re: Hybrid Test-Drive Continues
I thought I posted here last night, but I guess not -- can I be included in the test drive? This is a mask I'm really interested in, but I'm also a newbie so I don't know if I'm "vetted" enough yet to join.

Re: Am I just impatient?
Thanks Brenda. I figured I was just impatient, but today I had a bad day health wise and I was worried. Plus my mask about killed my nose last night, so that didn't help! DreamDiver, thanks! My machine is a pro, actually, did I pick the wrong thing in my profile? I'll check on that. I have a Remstar...

Am I just impatient?
I've been using my CPAP and full face mask for a week. I've been lucky in that I got used to it really fast, I get at least 7.5 hours of sleep with it per night and my AHI average is 4.2, so I'm sure it's working. However I don't really feel a lot of improvement. There is some improvement, mainly in...

Hi ziggy, looks like you and I left that other board at the same time! Good luck with your settings, I hope you find something that works for you.
