My 2nd Night w/CPAP

Post by lcrater » Sun Nov 02, 2008 8:47 pm

I've spent two nights with my new CPAP machine. I'm glad I'm on vacation for the next two weeks.

I'm looking forward to getting used to it.

I'm using a nasal pillows mask.

My nose is sore from using it, but I guess I'll get used to that, too.

When I first started with the swift II nasal pillow mask, my nose was at times burning in the morning from some of the friction of the nasal pillows. Over the period of a month, this went away and I haven't had it since. Keep up the good work and stick to it.

You can try some AYR Gel for the sore nose. It can be found at most drug stores. Just apply some where the nasal pillows contact the skin.
