I was excited to post an auction for my sleep machine only to find out you can't sell ResMed on cpapauctions.com! Now what? It's like new with only 494 hours, the clinical guide and even the USB adapter. UGH!

You can also sell your CPAP in Craiglist and Bonanza.com or even here in this forum

Are there any rules regarding sales of CPAP items on this forum? Would I just create a new Thread and list the item?

I think the problem may be related to folk buying the machine who have not been officially diagnosed and those who have been diagnosed but are not aware what pressure they need, bearing in mind that a person's pressure requirements may vary over their life on CPAP.

If you are able to send CPAP machines safely with no danger of damage in transit, you may find that there are eager buyers in the UK, because there are long waits for machines - and sleep studies - that you lucky folk on the North American continent would not believe!!

Of course then there's the problem for the UK folk to get their equipment maintained and get spare parts such as filters. But it might be worth investigating.

I sold one on this forum using the post below. Be sure to read all my replies not just the first one.

The buyer e-mailed me back that he was very happy for 2 reasons.

1 It was an exact replacement for the one he is using so he would not have to read a new instruction manual, parts would fit both, etc.

2 He works long hrs. and would have to take off from work to run around and quick get a replacement if his stopped working.

Thanks for the heads up. I belong to a bunch of different forums and this one is the only one that I know works this way.
