Could use some advice on selling my ResMed S-9.

Hi Folks,
I haven't been on the Forum for 3 years. No special reason. My therapy was going great and I just concentrated on other things. Until yesterday I was using an S-9 and had another S-9 as a backup. Yesterday I received a new ResMed Airsense 10 so I want to sell one of my S-9s.
Any advice on how too do this?

Unless it has very low hours and a low asking price, I don't think you will find a lot of interest here. Try Craigslist.

Or, you could say what you're asking, how many hours, etc. S9s are pretty nice machines, somebody here might be interested.

An S9 what? There are a lot of very different S9 machines.

It is the ResMed S9 AutoSet APAP machine with H5i Humidifier. It comes from a no pet, nonsmoking home. I haven't been able to figure out how to see how many hours it has. As for price, the last machine I sold for one of my relatives eight years ago, people PMed me and I sold it to the person who offered the highest price.

The total hours on the ResMed machine above are 8,875. I average about 8hrs of sleep a night so, doing the math, it would mean that my machine was used for 3 1/2 years.

I paid $230 for an S9 autoset on here about 3 yrs. ago. It had much lower hours on it though, I don't remember the exact amount. THat's a nice machine. It would make a nice back up or travel machine, or good for someone on a budget that wants an auto. Try $175. or similar. You could advertise on here and see.

You could maybe try selling it to SecondWind but I wouldn't count on getting much for it.

Secondwind won't even consider it. They won't buy any machines with more than 2,000 hours on them.
They even tell you right up front to not bother even submitting it for consideration if more than 2K hours.
