Re: For sale - Still Goode

Personally, I'm not interested, but thought I'd ask...... Out of curiosity, did you have a price in mind? Were you going to list the masks (including sizes) and prices for them, too? . The price isn't really important to me, I'd just thought it would be a nice setup for someone who doesn't have ins...

For sale - Still Goode

Hi Everyone, Well I was rediagnosed as having RLS and *not* sleep apnea, so I have a CPAP machine for sale, if anyone is interested. It's a Respironics REMstar Auto M Series with A-Flex, with heated humidifier, smart card, card reader, EncoreViewer software, Respironics hose cover, and padded travel...

Re: Humidifier ran out of water? M series pro

Well now I've read your other thread where you mentioned that they showed up at your house and gave you what they thought you needed. As someone else mentioned, you got a good machine! But the mask situation is all wrong. A call to your ENT's office should straighten things out- tell them you think ...

Re: Humidifier ran out of water? M series pro

Andy, My suggestion would be to call your ENT's office and tell them what is going on. When you told the sleep center that you are a mouth breather, they should have given you the option of a full face mask - it sounds like that is what you need. If you are new to CPAP, the med supply place should a...

Re: Does aflex cause leaks?

While I realize a-flex is a "comfort setting", but I wasn't sure if the pressure-relief on exhale could cause the air cushion to lose enough pressure to allow the seal against the face to break and then shove at least some air under the air cushion before resealing, rinse and repeat. I say yes... I...

Re: Resmed Liberty difference b/w S and L mask?

I had numbness in my lips after about 3 hours of wearing the mask. I loosened the straps but then the nose piece felt unstable. I ditched it and put on my UMFFM. I know that there are several nerve sites around the lips. This mask seems to compress every one of them for me. I got to thinking that m...

Re: Dizzy and lightheaded.

I second the low blood pressure hypothesis... I had a doctor put me on an antihypertensive once, for the sole purpose of augmenting the effects of another medication. I told him that my blood pressure naturally ran low and I really didn't want it, but he insisted. It messed me up so bad that just tu...

Re: Zzz Full Face mask

Hawthorne, FWIW I wear mine "shifted downward" so that the top of the mask rests about halfway down my nose. It's the way I was told to wear it by the RT; definitely not what's shown in the pictures on CPAP.com, but it works. I seem to get a better seal this way and it provides for some extra room i...

Re: Here is a picture of me on my computer

But . . . what frame would you recommend? I mean, even Reynolds 531 double-butted tubing would, well, flex a little too much. . . . Steel's real, but not that real.

None, really. Is the flapper (valve) torn?
