Lisa,
I wonder, before you invent the combo, if you bought a chinstrap and wore it with your nasal pillow mask, if that would be helpful. Here is a URL to some of cpap.com's chin straps.

Re: Air Hunger with Different Masks/CL2?
I think that different masks can affect you differently. Thanks, evbirch, that's why I love this site. Makes me feel like I'm NOT going crazy! I switched back to my CL2 and felt like I had a good seaL, but felt like it took more effort to inhale although the machine setting was always the same. Ter...

Re: Air Hunger with Different Masks/CL2?
Your range is set too low....Try 8-12 range and see what happens...What altitude are you at? Sleeprider, we're at about 124 feet. Good thought, but we aren't high enough to cause low 02 in the ambient air. Thanks for the suggestion to raise the flow range. It looks like even with the mask where I d...

Air Hunger with Different Masks/CL2?
Hi all, I have just finished my first month on cpap therapy. I've successfully used the OptiLife mask with nasal cushions, and can totally relax and breathe with my diaphragm with it. However, I'm trying out the Comfort Lite 2 (better for side sleeping?), and I'm feeling air hunger with it. I have t...

Re: One Month Today!
Thanks, happysleeper! It looks like we joined the forum at just about the same time. Congrats on your first 8-hour compliant night! I hope you're feeling well. Well, I definitely am improving. I'm over the zombie feeling of sleep deprivation from getting used to the mask, and I'm beginning to sweep...

Re: Don't blame RT/DME
Hi all, I really liked jbf's post. I may be in the middle of the road--I want to make my own adjustments, but with the knowledge of my sleep physician. I am a newbie to this, but... I see myself as the hub of the wheel. I am responsible for my own health. In that case that means knowing what my numb...

Re: Too tired for Thanksgiving dinner
Hi btesterman, My experience (on cpap for a month, and having some success!) was that the sleep lab did the titration, and after about two weeks (they had to write up the report) they called me to set up an appointment with the DME company. I brought my husband with me to the DME company, as I was t...

Re: Have not heard from Doc since sleep study!
Hi Sheep1234, Great name! I also didn't hear from my sleep doctor. I learned from this forum how important it is to follow my own numbers, so I convinced the DME company to program my machine so that I can now check my numbers ever day. I'm plotting them. Eventually I'll buy a reader that will plot ...

Re: Hose Cover
Hi cookerhouk, When I bought my hose snuggy, I also bought this hose connector: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/universal-hose-connector.html I can put warm soapy water inside the hose and link it to itself end to end in a big circle. Swish-swish. Empty, rinse, soak in 1:10 vinegar and water for 10...

Hi brain_cloud,
I have a friend (male) who wears a backwards bra at night, stuffed with tennis balls. Seriously!

Re: new circadiance sleepweaver advance?
Hi TXLadybug, Thanks for your review of the Sleapweaver Advance--just what I was looking for. I think I'll ask my DME if I can come in and try on the masks that I'm seeing are well used by people here, such as the Mirage Liberty, the Mirage Micro Nasal, and the one that Cisco777 suggested. Slinky, T...
