Welcome Snorestats. I've been on CPAP for over six years and just last week bought the M-series APAP w/C-flex. I can honestly say I haven't slept this well in years. The auto adjust feature is a MUST have IMHO. Things are settling down now, but the first three days by 90% pressure went for 14.5 to 1...

I just retired my old Sullivan Elite V that I had used every night for over 6 years and it was blowing strong. It has been on airplanes, several motorcycle trips across several states in some really hot weather. The covers over the function buttons were worn out and long gone, but the machine worked...

I believe that is what I'm using. I like it. My roll doesn't have any writing on the inside, so I wasn't sure what it was.

Thanks

I too have a high pressure setting and can understand your frustrations. My APAP has averaged 15.7 the last week. I also have the mouth coming open issue. Here's what I am doing at night that seems to be working pretty good. 1. I use breath right strips to help hold my nose open (it's broken). 2. I ...

You might try not have the straps so tight, or a nasal pillow mask. I use the nasal pillows and they rest lightly in my nose with no discomfort at all. In fact, if I do start having leak problems, 9 times out of 10 it is because the straps are too tight, not too loose. IMHO, no mask should be as tig...

That chart proves even more what I'm saying. I'm running an average of 15.8 on my pressure and the low leak rate I posted in my original post.

Leak solution?

As I've been reading this forum I hear so many people talking about leak problems. Don't know if I'm on to something or not, but my old fashion Adams nasal pillow system hardly gives my any problems at all. I just looked at my leaks per lt/min on my machine and the average for the last five days is ...

It's 205 reserve capacity. I didn't ask for anything but they're biggest marine deep cycle battery. I think I paid $72 for it and that was 5 years ago. Luckily, I haven't had to use it much, but it has taken and held a charge every time I hooked it up.

Looks like I need to dust the battery....LOL

What my buddy in Canada told me was that the deep cycle marine battery ought to run my CPAP for about three nights. Don't know about adding a humidifer...I've never had one.

SS,

First night I had the low side set on 12.5 and didn't sleep well at all.

Second night raised it to 14 and did good. Left it there the third night as well.
Raised it to 14.5 last night and did slightly less well. I'll bump it back down a bit tonight.

Thanks

SS, my inverter is just a cheap off the shelf inverter from Wal-mart...nothing special. And yes, I just charge the battery with a 12v car battery charger.
