Re: OT: What changes to the air does natural gas cause?

natural gas has no odor they add a sulfate type chemical to give it a smell. some people cannot smell it. like h2s exposure can wweaken your ability to smell it. for people who cannot smell it there are gas detectors that can alarm you . some places require these by code. ant propane supplier can ge...

Re: DME Prices vs Insurance payments

Too bad IRS doesn't know what's going on--sounds like tax fraud. --DME in the 'big house'--such a happy picture. ah hem i think the irs knows, since they enforce the rules congress makes as to what is and what is not allowable to be written off. part of this is why these Ceo's get exorbinate salari...

Perhaps. We do have some common ground. . .
We have many of the same goals, some similarities in philosophy, but opposing financial incentive.

Re: What to buy? Electric Blanket or Mattress Pad?

had both. blankets move too much and the wires inside break. don't last as long . plus heat rises.the matress pad will heat the sheets and blanket. i turn mine on 15-20 minutes before i go in then usually turn it off. i like a cold room and a warm bed . once it's warm i usually give off enough to ke...

Re: narrow your "active" APAP range by increasing minimum

I ordered the "SD Memory Card Reader for IntelliPAP, PR System One and S9 Machines" $12.95. So I think I ordered the right one. That one will work just fine. Or even a cheap generic Walmart card reader/adapter will work. I have no idea what is so special about that other one that is so expensive. b...

Re: Mask Exhaust Port - Question

well if in doubt just get a little dry ice and place it in front of the intake. seal the mask over your forearm( do not breathe it in ) and see if the "smoke" moves around the hose or if it gets stopped.(the answer is it will move around it.) as an alternative if you plug the hose completely, run the...

Re: Kill-A-Watt for DC?

Our students like to blow the fuses when they measure current, they hook the DMM up wrong. We sometimes go through 60 or 70 fuses some weeks. We have taken to cutting a hole in the back of the meters so we can change the fuse without taking the meter apart. why not simply install a fuseholder in th...
