MyEncore Beta Testers...

Post by derek » Mon Jun 06, 2005 9:00 am

Hi everybody,
How useful would an "Export Data" feature be, that would save all the current daily or pressure data to a tab- or comma-delimited text file that could then be imported to a spreadsheet program, such as Excel?

BTW - the current version is 0.1.42. I REALLY hope that this is "it" for the initial release. It now handles BiPAP databases.

I vote very useful. It would enable me to do a few things I'd like to do with the data if I had it in a format that I could import into Excel.

Hi, derek. Excuse me for this question (I'm not a programmer at ALL!), but if you can do an Excel export in your software, would it be possible to write in an Excel import feature so we Silverlining software users could then import all our data into your software???

This therapy WORKS!

Hi TXKajun,

You can export a semi-colon delimited file to Excel from Silverlining.

I do, however think that it would be an excellent idea if Derek got a PB420E for scientific experimentation and to use on his boat, so that he could improve on the Silverlining!

I can show you how to get the data that Silverlining collects into Excel if you wish.

Derek

Your idea of a "Data Export" feature is very good and could prove very useful.

Derek?

We need to get you using the Puritan-Bennett CPAPs & BiPAPs (420 & 425) so you can create more user-friendly software for them too!!!

Testers,
I have just uploaded Ver. 0.1.50 which includes the new data export feature. It exports two separate tab-delimited files (*.txt), one based on pressure data, the second on daily data. The appropriate buttons are displayed depending on the chart that is being shown. The dates used in the export are those set in the preferences.

This has to stop I swear that this is the last feature to be added My wife is disowning me...

Gang,
I've had a report of an error when exporting daily data. I cannot reproduce it. Anybody else with the problem?
