I received my CPAP in March of 2002 and have logged 9550+ hours. At what point should I consider replacing the unit. It is called "durable" medical equipment, but surely durable doesn't mean eternal.

If you don't have a "backup" machine, that would be a good reason to get another. I've read that some of those older machines can last for a LONG time, but I wouldn't want to push my luck that far.
