This is all Glassgal's, BuffaloAl's and Mikesus's fault, if anyone complains. They got me started on this nature photo thing. First BuffaloAl mentions the Arctic Tern. Then Glassgal mentions the Golden Plover, and then Mikesus sends me a fun photo of a dragonfly. So here I am. .....

This isn't it, but Mikesus sent me a beautiful photo he'd taken of a dragonfly, but I don't have his permission yet to post his photo. But instead, I was off searching the internet for a photo of some obscure dragonfly I remember seeing a few years back. Unfortunately I couldn't locate anything looking like what I remember. This one is nothing like it in structure. But the markings vaguely resemble what I saw. I remember seeing something like little flag-like things on the end of the four wings, and there seemed to be some dark red on the bug somewhere. Now, this is "bugging" me, not finding a photo that fits what I remembered.

Huh, I didn't realize I'd posted the same exact dragonfly, I forgot it was the same.
Mikesus's dragonfly photo is absolutely amazing!!

Actually, I had it stuck on 1000 most of yesterday, just so I could enjoy the number (by not posting as LDuyer but as guest). Sort of like when the odometer rolls over and you don't want to move the car, but just stare at all the zeros. I know, dumb. But I've now moved on. You nut!

R&R, I didn't stick it. I just didn't add to it. I posted as a guest instead, not adding to my LDuyer login number of posts. That's all I did. Nothing fancy. I just posted as a guest, not as my username.

Well then, I just don't know. Unless I was writing a reply at the time (sometimes it takes me awhile, especially when posting photos). But I don't know. But now the numbers seem to be adding, like I think this one makes 1010, I believe. Mystery to me.

Hi neversleeps,

That picture looks a lot like me if you shorten the neck a little. And I do get blue feet up north here when it gets cold. Maybe it should be called a Blue - Footed Bobby or Blue Bob or Bobby Blue or Bobby Blue Foot or just simply:

Bob F

No wonder my mask leaks!

That's interesting unclebob. I find I look a lot more like the beautiful Blue-footed Booby baby:
